What is the American Blind and Wallpaper Factory Affiliate Program?
The American Blind and Wallpaper Factory Affiliate Program allows you to place links to our products and site categories on your web site, giving you and your site visitors added value. By placing these links, visitors to your site have the opportunity to buy products at a convenience. If a product is purchased through your web site, we pay you a commission for each sale (5.5% of sale!). American Blind and Wallpaper Factory has teamed with Commission Junction, a leader in third-party affiliate marketing programs, to provide affiliates with trusted third party tracking, real-time reporting, and monthly commission checks, to handle all of our affiliate relationships. Once you sign up for our program, you'll have access to your own personal and secure account with Commission Junction. You can log in at any time to get our banners and links, find out about commissions earned and even learn about how many impressions each of your links has received.

Why should I join the American Blind and Wallpaper Factory Affiliate Program?
There are many reasons to join! As an Affiliate, you can add value to the content of your site. We take the customer order, take care of shipping and handle all payments. All you do is cash the check!

Does it cost me anything to become an Affiliate?
No! It's absolutely free to join our Affiliate Program, and you'll make money with very little effort. There is no charge to apply and there is no minimum sales requirement.

Can a web site outside the United States be an Affiliate?
Yes. We welcome Affiliates from Canada, UK, and US Virgin Islands; however, customers that buy from our site must pay in U.S. dollars. But, commission payment checks to Affiliates are in the currency selected.

I operate more than one web site. Can I still be an Affiliate?
Yes. You can have multiple sites as an Affiliate. You can have one Affiliate account that will include all of your sites. You can track the progress of each of your sites separately and be paid with only one commission check.

How do I sign up?
Click on the Enrollment Application link above. You must agree to the terms of the agreement at the bottom of the application. After your application is submitted, we will contact you to let you know if you've been accepted as an Affiliate, and we will provide you with information on how to get started.

How does the program work?
An Affiliate Program allows you to make money by referring customers to our web site. You do this by placing links on your site. Every time you refer a customer to us and that customer makes a purchase, you earn a commission. Earnings are automatically sent out every month via check to all Affiliates who have accumulated at least $25 in their account. There are no invoices to send and no data to track -- all payments are taken care of by American Blind and Wallpaper Factory and Commission Junction. For those affiliates earning over $600 in a year, 1099's will be issued for tax reporting purposes.

Is my web site eligible to become an Affiliate?
Most sites will qualify to participate in the program. Anyone may submit an application, but we and Commission Junction reserve the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a site's membership at any time if we deem that it contains objectionable material. Objectionable material may include, but is not equal to pornography, explicit language or content, or support for or discriminatory groups.

What are my responsibilities as an Affiliate?
Your responsibility as an affiliate is to log into your account at www.cj.com, and begin placing americanblinds.com's links on your site! You have the opportunity to set up as many links to americanblinds.com as you would like. Once logged in, you can also see your account balance at the top center of your screen and get instant site statistics under the "Run Reports" area.

Keyword Policy
American Blinds affiliates are not allowed to bid on any of our brand keywords on any search engine.

Promotion Policy
Affiliates cannot use the following:  "official site" or mention % off in title or descriptions. Affiliates cannot use americanblinds.com, or americanwallpaper.com in their display URL.  This includes paid search and paid inclusion.

What are American Blind and Wallpaper Factory's responsibilities?
We will provide you with the tools and support you need get up and running as an American Blind and Wallpaper Factory Affiliate and maximize sales through your site. We also handle orders, shipping, and billing for all customers you refer to us.

I don't have a web site. Can I still apply?
Unfortunately, no. In order for us to accept you as an Affiliate, we must be able to view your web site.

What if I operate more than one web site?
You can have multiple sites under one affiliate account. You can create links specifically for each site and generate separate reports for each site. You will receive one commission check for all sites.

How do I change my account information?
Log in at www.cj.com with the email and password you established for yourself when you completed the enrollment application. Under your Account tab, you can make any necessary changes.

Will becoming an Affiliate increase traffic to my site?
Our Affiliate Program is a revenue-sharing program. It is not designed to help you increase traffic to your site; however, it enhances your site with content, so your user return rate may be higher.

SETTING UP LINKS

How do I add links for americanblinds.com?
Once you sign up for our affiliate program and are approved, you will have access to a variety of banners and text links which you can add to your site. You can log into your account through Commission Junction (www.cj.com) at any time to see a list of our available creative.

Where should I place the links on my site?
You should place links where they are easy for your customers to find, such as your homepage or in your newsletter - basically, high traffic areas. If you place the links in an easily accessible location on your site, your visitors will be more likely to make a purchase.

How often should I update my links?
As often as you wish. Testing various creative is always a good idea. If you would like to use our product links on your site, please request a data feed that we can supply to you on a regular basis.

TRACKING, PAYMENT, AND REPORTING

How much can I earn?
You earn 5.5% of final net sales. We can't predict how much you will earn from our Affiliate Program because we don't know anything about your web site or your visitors.

How do I know how much commission I've earned?
In your Commission Junction account, you can see how much you've earned and even download a file if desired.

How often do I get paid?
Earnings are automatically sent out every month via check to all Affiliates who have accumulated at least $25 in their account. There are no invoices to send and no data to track-- all payments are taken care of by American Blind and Wallpaper Factory and Commission Junction. For those affiliates earning over $600 in a year, 1099's will be issued for tax reporting purposes.

Do I earn commissions on my own purchases?
Yes. When you buy products from us through your web site, you earn the same commission on your purchase that you would from a visitor purchase.

What about product returns?
If a user returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, the transaction will be reversed and commission will not be received. You can view which transactions have been reversed in the Run Reports area of your Commission Junction account.

How can I monitor my sales?
You can monitor your sales by accessing reports as often as you like through your account with Commission Junction.

Who processes orders and handles customer service?
We do all of that for the customers that you refer to our site. All you have to do is place links on your site. We do the rest!

How will you know that the orders came from my site?
All links from your site to our site contain a unique identifier so that every time a user comes to us via your site, we know to credit you when a purchase is made. This is only possible, though, when you obtain our links through your Commission Junction account.

How often can I run reports?
You can run reports as often as you wish through the Run Reports tab in your Commission Junction account. Data is in real time.

I operate more than one web site. Can you track them separately but pay me with one commission check?
Yes. You can have multiple sites under one Affiliate account. You can generate reports specifically for each site, but you will receive one commission check for all earnings from all of your sites. Through your account with Commission Junction, you have the ability to set up multiple sites.
