Energy-efficient honeycomb design conserves energy and provides a level of insulation (R-value) unmatched by other window treatments. Cellular Shades have multiple layers of fabric bonded together to form honeycomb-shaped cells. Also known as honeycomb shades, they trap air within their cells to provide insulation. R-Factor+: 5.24-5.33. Values represented are based on a Low-E double pane window combined with a cellular shade. Low-E is also referred to as double glazing. The higher the value, the more insulative the product. These popular shades are available in semi-opaque fabrics.
