Our American Blinds Legacy Outdoor Solar Shades will help reduce your interior cooling costs while protecting your patio or deck against direct heat from the sun’s glare, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors on sunny days comfortably. These shades come in a variety of different textural weaves and opacity levels. The opacity percentage is proportional to the amount of light the shade lets in, so a 10% opacity allows in more light than 2%. These shades have the option of a pole crank system (adjustable crank size) which we recommend for large shades or for child safety, or the easiest to use: motorized . All shades have an 8-foot height (96”) and the width can be custom cut. The standard widths are 48", 72", 96" and 120". These heavy duty shades can be installed directly over windows to block the sun from entering your home, or at the edge of a patio or deck to provide some shade so you can enjoy outdoor seating areas on even the sunniest days. The shades come standard with a wind-flex tie-down system to keep them in place, even during extreme conditions. The fabric-wrapped bottom tube and full commercial-grade aluminum valance give this solar shade a well-finished look. A remote control will be included for each shade ordered with motorization . The motor type is dependent upon the fabric choice. Caribbean, Maui, and Kona fabrics come with an AC Plug-in motor. Bermuda, Cayman, Capri, St. Lucia, Santorini, and Bora Bora fabrics come with a DC Rechargeable motor.

DC Rechargeable motor: Includes battery, charger, and 5 channel remote that can control up to 5 shades with one remote.

Child Safety: This product can be made safer for windows where children or pets may be present only when the crank lift or motorized lift is selected as a control option.
