The Eve Motionblinds Motorized Light Filtering Roller Shade combines modern style with functionality, transforming harsh outdoor light into a soft, inviting glow. These smart shades enhance convenience, energy efficiency, and safety, making them a valuable addition to any smart home.
Eve Motionblinds are the first motors on the market to support Matter and Thread, simplifying installation, automation, and control. The motors are seamlessly integrated into the shade, allowing for cable-free installation and USB-C recharging. Setup is simple—just scan the HomeKit setup code with an iPhone. When a HomePod mini or the latest Apple TV 4K is available as a Thread border router, the shades automatically join the network.
Designed with privacy in mind, Eve Motionblinds store all data and intelligence locally on the motor rather than in the cloud. This ensures that data exchanged within the home remains in the home.
Automation is easy with on-device schedules created in the Eve app. Through HomeKit Scenes and Rules in the Home app, the shades can securely interact with other HomeKit accessories, including light bulbs, thermostats, motion detectors, and sensors. Remote control and manual pull operation are also available. With Thread support, Eve Motionblinds are ready for the Matter smart home standard, extending compatibility beyond HomeKit.
Choose from a variety of neutral tones, subtle patterns, vibrant colors, and bold prints to complement your décor. Complete the look with a cassette or cornice upgrade. The semi-open cassette is wrapped in your selected fabric and includes coordinated hardware, concealing installation components while maintaining a clean appearance. The fabric-wrapped cornice covers the top of the shade and can be installed either inside or outside the window, depending on your mounting preference.

We Recommend:
- Inside-mounted shades will have light gaps on each side that allow light to enter. Add light blockers to help eliminate these gaps.
- Ordering a charging cable does not include a power adapter.
Considerations:
- Eve Motionblinds require an iPhone or iPad running the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Automatic control and remote access for HomeKit-enabled accessories require a HomePod or Apple TV (4th generation or later) configured as a home hub.
- Inside-mounted roller shades will have an approximate 1" vertical light gap between the edge of the fabric and the window casing on the pull-chain side, and up to a 5/8" light gap on the opposite side. This is necessary because the fabric must be narrower than the operating mechanisms at the top.
- Materials and operating mechanisms (including cords and ladders) are covered for 3 years.
- Manufacturer defects and shipping damage (reported within 14 calendar days)
- Variations in texture, construction or color of natural products, slight warping of wood products, and natural color changes to materials that take place over time.
- Product failure due to any of the following:
- Improper installation, operation or cleaning
- Normal wear and tear
- Excessive exposure to heat, sunlight or moisture
- Damage from children, pets or insects
- Alteration of any kind
- Products that exceed size recommendations or are outside of product specifications
